Commissioned as the fabrication and installation partner, Apsogi executed the full build for the Frank Gehry x Louis Vuitton installation at Art Basel Miami 2023. Working with Gehry Studio and Louis Vuitton’s visual team, Apsogi produced sculptural display structures, curved architectural walls, vitrines, custom plinths, and a series of iconic silver sail-like mesh sculptures—echoing Gehry’s 2014 LV window designs. The installation framed a debut collection of handbags and artworks inspired by Gehry’s signature themes of material exploration, fluid architecture, and fantastical form.

The Gehry x Louis Vuitton booth
was envisioned as a sculptural stage for storytelling—a physical manifestation of Gehry’s design language fused with the Maison’s craft. Apsogi brought this vision to life through custom fabrication of fluid architectural forms, textural plinths, curved display walls, and mesh sail structures that echoed Gehry’s Fondation Louis Vuitton. Every surface, join, and finish was engineered to mirror the energy of Gehry’s models while complementing the materials and silhouettes of the limited-edition handbag capsule.
The interplay of form and texture:
translucent mesh sails that sweep above vitrines, sculptural plinths echoing concrete textures, and hand-built architectural surfaces that frame the bags as objects of art. Apsogi’s installation work blends seamlessly with the storytelling—each element contributing to the themes of “Architecture and Form,” “Material Exploration,” and “Twisted Box,” which defined the collaboration.
